Becoming an NNA nanny

  • Infant/child CPR & First Aid certification or willingness to be certified before beginning a new position

  • Able to pass extensive background checks

  • Have U.S. work authorization

  • Be fluent or able to communicate effectively in English

  • Willing and committed to being paid “on the books” as a W-2 employee

  • Able to verify at least three years of full-time, professional childcare experience

If you don’t yet meet our qualifications, continue building your resume and apply when you’re ready!

Our Process

  • Initial application: Our team reviews applications to verify candidates have applicable experience

  • Agency phone screen: We will schedule an initial ten-minute phone screen

  • References: Candidates are required to provide at least three childcare or education-related references. References must match the most recent positions in the order of the resume to verify their working history. We speak to every reference and ask questions to gain a full understanding of experience and knowledge gained in each position, level of energy and engagement, responsiveness to feedback, areas of improvement, and overall reliability.

  • Social media screening: Our candidates are expected to present themselves in a professional manner both on and off duty, including through social media.

  • Agency interview: We will schedule a 1-hour interview to dive deeper

Once we’ve completed this vetting process we will work together to determine which families would be a good fit for you and begin submitting your profile for interview consideration with families!

  • Background check: Once candidates receive an offer of employment, they undergo a thorough background check in compliance with applicable laws prior to starting their new job. Our exhaustive background checks ensure our clients are making a safe choice for their families.

We advocate for the nannies we work with and will listen to you like a friend. We organize meetups, playdates, and training so you can be the best nanny out there. We have high expectations of the families we work with and we are passionate about finding the right family for you.

We look forward to helping you on your journey!
